At NavGo, we care about protecting your personal data and your privacy.
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains what personal data is processed when you use the NavGo mobile app (the “App”), the digital services provided by NavGo and related features (the “Services”); the purposes and legal bases for that processing; who it may be shared with; how long it may be retained; and your rights regarding your personal data.
This Policy has been prepared taking into account applicable data protection legislation, in particular Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”) for users located in Türkiye, and, to the extent applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and relevant local data protection regulations for users located in the European Economic Area.

Unless stated otherwise, “NavGo”, “we”, “us” or “our” as used in this Policy refers to Corevia Yazılım Ticaret Limited Şirketi.
2. Scope of the Policy
This Policy covers the personal data processing activities carried out within the NavGo App and Services.
Third party services linked to by NavGo or used within the App may have their own privacy policies and data processing practices.
Data processing activities carried out independently by these third parties may be subject to their own privacy policies.
3. Categories of Personal Data Processed
Depending on how you use NavGo and which features you use, the following categories of personal data may be processed.
3.1. Account and Identity Information
When you create or sign in to a NavGo account, the following information may be processed:
- Email address,
- User or account identifier,
- Account creation date,
- Account status,
- Sign in and verification records,
- Technical logs related to account security.
Under NavGo's passwordless email verification system, verification codes and related technical records may be temporarily processed to provide access to your account.
3.2. Location Data
Your device's location information may be processed so that NavGo's navigation and driver assistance features can be provided.
This may include:
- GPS location,
- Approximate location,
- Latitude and longitude information,
- Direction of travel,
- Speed information,
- Instantaneous location along the route,
- Starting and destination location information required for navigation.
Location information may be used for the following purposes:
- Providing navigation,
- Creating and recalculating routes,
- Determining the user's position along the route,
- Providing traffic information,
- Providing road and driving alerts,
- Showing speed limit information,
- Determining upcoming driving alerts,
- Providing Services suited to the user's location.
NavGo does not store on its own servers the instantaneous location data obtained from the device during navigation and driving.
Location information is processed in real time for the purpose of operating the relevant navigation and driving features.
3.3. Background Location
For NavGo to provide uninterrupted navigation and driver assistance features, it may be necessary to access location information while the App is in the background or the device screen is off, in cases where the user is actively using the relevant feature.
Background location may be used for the following purposes:
- Maintaining active navigation without interruption,
- Tracking the user's progress along the route,
- Recalculating the route,
- Determining upcoming road, traffic and driving alerts,
- Providing speed limit and related driving alerts,
- Operating location based features during active driving mode.
Instantaneous location information accessed in the background is likewise not stored on NavGo's servers.
Users can change or remove location and background location permissions at any time from their device's operating system settings.
Removing location permission may cause NavGo's navigation and location based driving features to stop working, in part or in full.
5. User Generated Road and Traffic Reports
NavGo may allow users to report certain road and traffic conditions while travelling.
When a user creates a report, the following information may be processed:
- The type of report,
- The location of the report,
- The time the report was created,
- The status of the report,
- A technical user or anonymous identifier associated with the report,
- Confirmations or feedback given by other users about the report.
Where a user manually creates a road or traffic report, the location information associated with that report is part of the report itself. This information may be processed to show other users the location of the relevant road event.
This does not mean that NavGo stores the user's continuous location history.
Report data may be processed for the purposes of;
- Showing the report to other users,
- Assessing whether the report is still current,
- Detecting false or abusive reports,
- Preventing duplicate reports,
- Maintaining the security of the Services
.
NavGo aims to avoid unnecessarily disclosing personal information when showing user reports to other users.
6. Device and Technical Data
Certain technical information may be processed when you use NavGo, in order to operate the Services and maintain their security.
This may include:
- Device type,
- Device model,
- Operating system and version,
- App version,
- Language and region settings,
- IP address,
- App or device identifiers,
- Session and connection information,
- Technical security logs.
This data may be used to ensure the App works correctly across different devices, to prevent misuse, and to resolve technical issues.
7. Usage Data
Certain usage information may be processed, to the extent necessary, to understand how NavGo is used and to improve the Services.
This may include data such as
- Features used,
- In app interactions,
- Session information,
- Feature usage frequency,
- Technical performance information
.
This information may be evaluated, where possible, in an aggregated form or in a form that does not directly identify the user.
8. Subscription and Purchase Data
If you use a paid service such as NavGo Prime or NavGo Truck Pro, certain information related to your subscription may be processed.
This may include data such as
- Subscription plan,
- Subscription status,
- Purchase date,
- Renewal status,
- Transaction or purchase identifiers from the relevant app store,
- Technical information necessary for purchase verification

For purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the payment transaction is carried out by the relevant platform.
NavGo does not receive or store your full card number, security code (CVV/CVC) or similar payment card details for purchases made through app stores.
9. Support and Contact Data
When you contact NavGo or submit a support request, the following information may be processed:
- Email address,
- Your contact information,
- The content of your support request,
- Any files or screenshots you send,
- Technical information necessary to resolve the request,
- Correspondence exchanged with NavGo.
This data is used to respond to user requests and to resolve technical issues.
10. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
NavGo may process personal data for the following purposes:
- Creating and managing user accounts,
- Verifying user accounts,
- Providing navigation services,
- Creating and recalculating routes,
- Providing traffic and road condition information,
- Providing location based driving alerts,
- Providing speed limit and driver assistance features,
- Processing user road and traffic reports,
- Verifying subscription entitlements,
- Securing the App and user accounts,
- Preventing fraud and misuse,
- Detecting and resolving technical issues,
- Improving the Services,
- Providing user support,
- Fulfilling legal obligations,
- Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.
11. Legal Bases for Processing Personal Data
Personal data is processed on the legal bases available under KVKK, depending on the relevant processing activity.
These bases may include:
- Being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract,
- The data controller's compliance with a legal obligation,
- Data processing being mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right,
- Data processing being mandatory for NavGo's legitimate interests, provided this does not harm the data subject's fundamental rights and freedoms,
- Being expressly provided for by law,
- The data subject's explicit consent, where required

Where processing is based on explicit consent, the user has the right to withdraw that consent under applicable legislation.
For processing relating to users located in the European Economic Area, appropriate legal bases such as performance of a contract, legal obligation, legitimate interest or consent are relied on under the GDPR to the extent applicable.
12. Location Permissions and User Control
Access to location data is subject to the permissions managed by your device's operating system.
NavGo may request location permission, to the extent supported by your device, at the moment it is needed for the relevant feature to function.
The user may:
- Deny location access,
- Grant location access only while using the App,
- Change precise location access on supported devices,
- Restrict or remove background location access.
Changing these permissions may cause some NavGo features to stop working, in part or in full.
13. Third Party Services
NavGo may make use of certain third party technology providers in order to deliver the Services.
These may include the following services:
- Map services,
- Navigation and route calculation,
- Traffic information,
- App stores and subscription transactions,
- Cloud and server infrastructure.
NavGo's map and navigation infrastructure may make use of third party map and navigation technologies.
Third party service providers may have their own privacy policies and data processing practices.
NavGo intends to rely on third party services only to the extent necessary to provide the Services.
15. International Data Transfers
Some of the technology, map, app store, cloud or infrastructure providers used by NavGo may have systems located outside Türkiye.
For this reason, certain personal data may be processed abroad when the relevant services are used.
Where personal data needs to be transferred abroad, NavGo takes into account the transfer mechanisms and safeguards provided for under applicable data protection legislation.
Where personal data within the European Economic Area is transferred outside the region, adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other appropriate data transfer mechanisms may be relied on under the GDPR to the extent applicable.
16. Data Retention Periods
NavGo retains personal data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it is processed, and in accordance with applicable legal retention obligations.
In determining the retention period, the following are taken into account;
- The nature of the data,
- The purpose of processing,
- Whether the account is active,
- The necessity for providing the Service,
- Security needs,
- Legal retention obligations,
- Time limits relating to possible legal disputes

Instantaneous GPS location history obtained during navigation and driving is not stored on NavGo's servers.
The location associated with a road or traffic report that a user has voluntarily created may, however, be retained as part of the report data for as long as necessary to display the report.
Once the purpose of retention has ended and no other legal basis requires the data to be kept, personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymized in accordance with applicable legislation.
17. Data Security
NavGo applies appropriate technical and administrative measures to protect personal data against
- Unauthorized access,
- Unlawful processing,
- Unauthorized alteration,
- Disclosure,
- Loss or damage
.
These measures may include access controls, secure communication methods, authorization mechanisms and security logs, appropriate to the nature of the data and current technological conditions.
That said, no method of data transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
18. Your Rights under KVKK
Under Article 11 of KVKK, and to the extent applicable, users have the right to:
- Learn whether their personal data is being processed,
- Request information about it if it has been processed,
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose,
- Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, domestically or abroad,
- Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data,
- Request deletion or destruction of personal data within the conditions set out in the law,
- Request that correction, deletion or destruction be notified to the third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,
- Object to a result that is to their detriment arising solely from analysis of the processed data through automated systems,
- Request compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing of personal data

19. Rights under GDPR
Users to whom the GDPR applies may, depending on the circumstances, have the following rights:
- Access to personal data,
- Requesting correction of inaccurate or incomplete data,
- Requesting erasure of personal data,
- Requesting restriction of processing,
- Objecting to processing,
- Data portability, where applicable,
- Withdrawing consent for consent based processing,
- Lodging a complaint with a competent data protection authority.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
20. Deletion of Account and Personal Data
Users may request deletion of their NavGo account.
Account deletion may be initiated through the account management feature within the App or through other application methods provided by NavGo.
Following an account deletion request, personal data that is no longer necessary for use of the relevant account is deleted, destroyed or anonymized in accordance with applicable legislation.
However,
- Legal obligations,
- Retention of financial and transaction records,
- Fraud prevention,
- Security,
- Legal disputes,
- Establishment, exercise or protection of a right
may require certain information to be retained for the period permitted or required under applicable legislation.
Deleting an account may not automatically cancel an ongoing subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Active subscriptions must be managed separately through the subscription management of the relevant app store.
21. Anonymized and Aggregated Data
NavGo may anonymize or aggregate personal data using applicable methods for statistical evaluation, product development and improvement of the Services.
Where data is irreversibly anonymized such that it can no longer be associated with the data subject, that information may lose its character as personal data.
22. Children's Privacy
NavGo is primarily a Service intended for motor vehicle drivers and navigation users.
Any age restriction on the App is determined taking into account app store ratings and applicable legislation in the countries where it is offered.

23. Differences by Country
NavGo may be offered in different countries, and data protection legislation may vary from country to country.
NavGo may modify certain features of the App or its data processing methods in specific countries to comply with local legislation.
Mandatory local data protection rights applicable to users are not eliminated by this Policy.
24. Changes to this Privacy Policy
NavGo may update this Privacy Policy over time due to changes to the Services, new features, technological developments, or changes in legislation.
The current Policy is published on the NavGo website and/or the App.
For changes that materially affect users' rights or the way personal data is processed, users are informed through appropriate means where required by applicable legislation.
The “Last Updated” date at the top of the Policy indicates when the Policy was most recently changed.
